ENGLISH VERSION
The “Lorien” ' name is out of J.R.R. Tolkien book, "Lord of the Rings".
HISTORY
In 1988, I bought my first persian cat in order to keek Tanis, the "pure alley cat" company.
I chose the breed not for aesthetic qualities but for its temperament, because I visited a Cat Show and was amazed at Persian sweetness.
Dvina du Pignet de Royan had a good pedigree so I decided to let her have a litter.
My first home born cat, Ch. Ginger de la Lorien, let me become more familiar with cats shows and so on I have become more demanding with the persian standard.

PHILOSOPHY
My goal is to reconcile optimal life conditions for my cats and a big rigour in my breeding program. So I have a smal number of animals (8 breeding cats in March 2024.
All my cats live with me inside my home.
None of them lives in a cage.
No stud service.
No resell of adult cats.
I am looking for a sweet open look, a heavy morphology and healthy cats.
All my breeding cats are free from PKD (DNA clear) and also have their DNA genetic identification.
My cattery is CAF & LOOF registered.
I am member of the LOOF (the French Feline Federation) and vice president of the club "Passion Alliance Feline".

J’ai choisi le nom de “Lorien” en référence au livre de J.R.R. Tolkien “le seigneur des anneaux”.
HISTOIRE
En 1988, j'ai acquis mon premier persan, afin de tenir compagnie à Tanis, mon "pur gouttière".
J'avais choisi la race non pas pour son esthétisme mais pour son caractère, car lors d'une visite à une exposition féline, j'avais été émerveillée par leur douceur.
Dvina du Pignet de Royan avait un beau pedigree aussi j'ai décidé de lui laisser avoir une portée.
Mon premier chat né à la maison, Ch. Ginger de la Lorien m'a permis de devenir plus familière avec les expositions et ainsi je suis devenue plus exigeante par rapport au standard.

PHILOSOPHIE
Mon objectif est de concilier des conditions de vie optimales pour mes chats et une grande rigueur dans mon programme d'élevage. Aussi je n'ai qu'un nombre restreint d'animaux (8 reproducteurs en mars 2024)
Tous mes chats vivent dans la maison. Aucun n'est en cage.
Pas de saillie extérieure.
Pas de revente de chat adulte.
Je recherche un look doux et ouvert, une "grosse morphologie" et des chats "robustes".
Tous mes reproducteurs sont négatifs PKD par ADN et sont identifiés par ADN.
Ma chatterie est inscrite CFA & LOOF.
Je suis membre du LOOF & également vice Présidente du club "Passion Alliance Féline".
